INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS


CONNERS SCALE is intended for parents and teachers, aiming at diagnosis of
hiperatividade. Adaptada e validada no Brasil por Barbosa (1995).
The abbreviated scale for teachers consists of 39 items. Each question describes a
characteristic behavior of the hyperactive child, and the teacher should evaluate it as it presents itself.
For each item there are four response options: [0] = never; [1] = sometimes; [2] =
frequently; and [3] = always. The total points for this scale is 117 points and it should be
applied to children aged 07 to 14 years.
The scale for the country consists of 42 items, which describe hyperactive behavior of the
child, in which the parents must assess how it is presenting itself. It has the same options of
