CHRISTMAS PROGRAMME – 2025

(NATIVITY PLAN)

SCENE - 1 ANGEL APPEARS TO MARY

In the sixth month of Elizabeth's pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to a town in Galilee named Nazareth. He
had a message for a girl promised in marriage to a man named Joseph, who was a descendent of King David.

The girl's name was Mary. The angel came to Mary and said, "Peace be with you! The Lord is with you and has

greatly blessed you!" But Mary got afraid at the saying and started thinking what sort of greeting it might be.
And the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid Mary for you have been blessed by God. You will conceive and will
give birth to a son and you will name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High

God. Lord God will give him the throne of his father David. He will rule over the descendents of Jacob forever
and of his kingdom there shall be no end" Mary said to the angel, "I am a virgin, how then can this be?" The

angel said, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of God, the Most High will rest upon you. A child

will be born from you who will be holy and will be called the Son of God. Remember your relative Elizabeth. It is
said that she cannot have children but she herself is now six months pregnant, even though she is very old.

For there is nothing that God cannot do.

" And Mary said, "I am the Lord's servant, may it happen to me as you have said." And the angel departed.

were no rooms in the inn to stay, they found a shelter in a cowshed. There Mary gave birth to her first born son,

wrapped in swaddling cloth and laid him in a manger.
