ACTIVITY #3: SOCIAL IMAGINATION

Social Imagination enable us to deal with society minus the private troubles and social
problems and public issues.
Question:
Five to Seven Years from now, using Social Imagination, where I am, what I am, and
what is my contribution to the society where I choose to be?

Social imagination refers to the ability to see the connections between our personal lives
and the social world in which we live. Thinking about five to seven years from now, I can picture
myself reaching my goals and becoming the person I want to be.
I see myself as a professional in the field of Information Technology, using the
knowledge and skills that I learned during my college years. By that time, I will be working in a
good company where I can continue to improve my abilities, gain more experience, and achieve
stability in life. Having to achieve the career that I enjoy will not only give me personal success
but will also allow me to share my skills and contribute to our society. Aside from my career, I
also imagine myself as a good and responsible citizen. Through social imagination, I can
understand that my role as an IT professional is more than just having a job.
Five to seven years from now, I see myself not only as a successful IT professional but
also as a person who gives positive contributions to society and helps others move forward.
