Connecting your Personal Mobile Device to AirWatch
to Securely Access MD Anderson Resources
Instructions to install AirWatch on your iPhone, iPad or Android device are included below.
Note: You must have Duo two-factor authentication installed and set up on your device
before you can begin.
iPhone and iPad instructions:
1. On your device, tap the App Store, search for VMWare Intelligent Hub and Get (free app)
2. After installing, open Intelligent Hub, type your MD Anderson email address then tap Next.
3. Type your MD Anderson username and password, then tap Next.
4. Accept the terms and conditions, then on the privacy screen tap Continue.
5. Tap Download profile, then when prompted to allow "Hub" to send notifications, tap Allow.
6. When prompted "This website is trying to download a configuration profile," tap Allow.
You will be prompted to open the Settings app to install the profile. Tap Close.
7. Swipe to Home, tap Settings, tap General, tap VPN & Device Management,
tap Workspace Services, tap Install (several times) then Trust, then Done.
8. You will be prompted to install several Apps. Tap Install. If you do not already have
a passcode for your iOS device, you will be prompted to create one (required).
9. When prompted for your MDA password, tap Edit Settings. Enter your MDA password,
tap Sign In and acknowledge the Duo push.
10. Swipe to Home, then tap the Mail icon. For Mail Privacy Protection, tap Protect Mail activity then tap
Continue. Tap Allow for mail notifications and email will begin downloading.
11. Swipe to Home, then tap Hub. Tap I Understand, and I Agree. Tap This Device, then Sync Device
and swipe back to Home.
12. Once enrolled, you will see several new MDA apps on your home screen. Use your mail, calendar
It may take several minutes for all apps to finish downloading. and contacts apps to access
MD Anderson resources.
• Hub - main AirWatch application for mobile management
• MD Anderson Apps - App store for MD Anderson applications
• Employee App - Employee directory and other resources
• Web - For securely browsing MD Anderson intranet
• Content - View email attachments securely

Android device instructions:
[Link] and install the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub from the Google Play Store.
[Link] the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub.
3. The Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub will prompt you for your MD Anderson email address.
4. Allow Hub to make and manage Phone Calls. Tap Allow.
5. When you see the Welcome to Workspace
message, tap Next.
6. Type your MD Anderson username and password, then tap Continue.
7. Accept the Terms of Use.
8. Accept the Privacy Notice by tapping I Understand.
9. You may be prompted to encrypt your device. Devices running recent versions of Android OS will not
receive this prompt.
10. Tap Agree to configure a Work Profile that will be associated with the device.
11. Tap Continue when prompted to complete Workspace Services.
12. Once complete, your device is ready to begin using the Work Profile. To access MD Anderson apps,
open your app drawer and choose the Work profile. You can switch back and forth between Personal and
Work Profile by tap on which profile you want to access.
