SARA on GLOBAL ISSUES

My friend and me are going to talk to you about a very


important THEME which is “global issues”

Global issues are problem that concern the entire


planet We will address two of them which are
Environmental issues and economic issues.
Air and water pollution, as well as the loss of
biodiversity are the Environmental issues which, will have
devastating impact on our planet by 2050 if nothing is
done. Indeed, more than 7 million people will die each
year from respiratory diseases, the destruction of natural
habitats and the decline of living organisms, as well as
the disappearance many animal and plant species if
these global problems persist.
Furthermore, on the economic level, we have sector-
specific impacts which are Agriculture and Ocean
economic. Indeed, climate change could lead to a global
increase in agricultural prices and a decline in production,
especially for rain fed crops. Moreover, the Ocean
economy, a major part of the global economy, faces
threats from climate change, environmental degradation,
and slow digital transformation, risking its long-term
sustainability.
Faced with these consequences, the solutions we
suggest are the following reduce greenhouse gas
emissions, protect ecosystems, reduce plastic pollution,
and develop organic agriculture so that they are
agricultural practices that respect the environment.
