This is Anamul Haque, born on July 13, 2000, and currently I live in Sherpur with my family. I
completed my Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)
examinations in 2015 and 2017. The results were 4.89 and 4.25 out of 5 respectively. After that, I
aimed to study in a public university to study my chosen subject. However, since my chosen
subjects were highly competitive, I appeared for the admission test the following year as well. I
also decided to utilize the year productively. As a result, during this time, I strengthened my
academic foundation and utilized the opportunity to enhance my knowledge to secure a place in
my chosen field of study.
Later, I completed my Bachelor of Arts (BBA) degree in Finance and Banking from National
University on February 12, 2025 where I secured a CGPA of 3.51 out of 4. Also, I appeared for
the PTE Academic examination in September 2025 and scored a total of 64, with no band less
than 50.
My education in Australia will be borne by my mother, who owns and manages several
properties. My brother is also a skilled professional working in New Zealand. They will jointly
bear all the tuition fees and living expenses for my studies. Both my mother and brother are
financially independent and well-established, with a combined annual income of 4,236,000 taka
(approximately 52,941.53 Australian dollars). In addition, their immovable assets are worth
6,360,000 taka (approximately 79,487.28 Australian dollars). My family has always prioritized
my education and as a result, they are fully committed and enthusiastic to support me in my
higher education in Australia, including all expenses and living expenses. They have currently
deposited and maintained a fund of 6,000,000 Bangladeshi taka (approximately 74,988.00
Australian dollars) for me to fully cover my course fees and living expenses.
Q2. Explain why the applicant wishes to study this course in Australia with this education
provider. This must also explain their understanding of the requirements of the intended
course and studying and living in Australia
While I was completing my BBA, I was inspired to explore opportunities to pursue a
postgraduate degree abroad to gain global exposure and specialized skills. Along with
establishing a strong foundation in finance and management, I also had a keen interest in
learning and integrating information systems, which integrate technology with strategic business
decision-making. So, to enhance my skills, I completed an extensive short course on Data
Analytics, QuickBooks and Xero software, which I feel has strengthened my technical and
analytical skills.
Among the countries I explored for higher education, I explored universities in the US, Canada
and the UK. However, I chose Australia because I found it particularly attractive for its world-
class education, innovative teaching methods, emphasis on practical learning and supportive
multicultural environment. After applying, I received a conditional offer from Charles Darwin
University (CDU) for the Master of Information Technology (Information Systems) program
with a 30% scholarship. The two-year program consists of 14 core units and 1 specialist elective
unit, totaling 160 credit points. I also noticed that the curriculum includes contemporary topics
such as fundamentals of data science, database concepts, business intelligence and data mining,
machine learning, information systems management and information systems practice, and a
specialist elective in professional experience, which aligns very well with my interests. Another
reason for choosing this university is that the CDU Sydney campus offers a vibrant learning
environment with strong industry connections, internships and professional development
opportunities. I also believe that studying here will provide me with advanced knowledge and
practical experience, which will later prepare me for a successful career in the global IT sector.
Q3. Explain how completing the course will be of benefit to the applicant
By pursuing a Master of Science in Information Technology (Information Systems) from Charles
Darwin University, I will gain a unique combination of advanced IT skills and business
knowledge. This will help me to remain competitive and find better opportunities in
Bangladesh’s rapidly growing ICT sector in the future. With the market expected to grow by
6.33% by 2030, I believe the demand for professionals who can effectively bridge the gap
between technology and business strategy will continue to grow and increase.
Therefore, an international degree from CDU, complemented by practical experience through a
temporary graduate visa poststudy work stream, will provide me with the skills, global
perspective and industry experience needed to excel in leading multinational companies such as
Robi Axiata, Bashundhara Group, Tiger IT, or Reckitt Benckiser. Graduates in the IT sector in
Bangladesh can earn up to 25,000 Australian dollars per year. Therefore, returning home with
this global qualification will ensure the highest return on my investment. In the long term, I
want to launch my own tech-enabled venture, to contribute to the growing digital entrepreneurial
ecosystem in Bangladesh.

I completed my undergraduate degree without any study or year break. However, due to
unavoidable circumstances, particularly the global disaster caused by the COVID-19 pandemic
in 2020, the nationwide student protests in 2024, and the political unrest, the overall duration of
my program was extended, as academic activities of the universities were disrupted during that
time. However, despite these challenges, I remained committed to my studies and successfully
completed my degree with diligence and dedication.
The cost of living and taxation in Australia are high, making it difficult to achieve long-term
financial stability, while Bangladesh offers a much more affordable and practical lifestyle. The
importance of family in my society and culture is immense, and as the youngest son, I feel a
strong moral obligation to take care of my elderly mother. Furthermore, the property legally
vested in me and contributing to the well-being and long-term stability of my family further
strengthens my commitment to return to my country. Furthermore, the financial support for my
education in Australia will be handled by my mother and brother, which further reflects my clear
desire to return home after graduation. I also have no previous visa refusals or history of
international travel and I am fully aware of and will comply with all the conditions of the
Australian Subclass 500 Student Visa, which include full-time study, valid health insurance and
maintaining financial obligations.
