Description

7311 Model D10 I/O Drawer

The Model D10 delivers a modular growth path for

pSeries 650 servers with increasing I/O requirements. Its
benefits include:
• Reliability, availability, and serviceability (RAS)
providing:
− N + 1 Power
− N+1 Cooling units
− Blind-swap cassettes for easier servicing of PCI
adapters
− Service processor on attached pSeries 650 for
integrated system monitoring
• Six industry-standard hot-plug PCI slots per I/O
drawer. These hot-plug slots allow most PCI adapters
to be removed, added, or replaced without powering
down the system.
• Voltage and frequency variations for unique adapter
requirements:
− Five 64-bit, 133 MHz, 3.3 volt, PCI-X slots
− One 64-bit, 33 MHz, 5 volt, PCI slot
• Rack mounting in a 19-inch rack, such as the IBM
7014-T00 or 7014-T42. A rack-mount enclosure (#7311)
can hold one or two D10 drawers, side by side, in 4U
of vertical rack space.
