Impact of School Culture on Objectives

This study investigates the impact of school culture on achieving objectives in primary schools in Garoua I Subdivision, Cameroon. ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of schools culture on the
attainments of school objectives in primary schools within Garoua I Subdivision , North Region of
Cameroon. It specifically examined how leaderships style and vision , teacher collaboration and
collegiality influences the realisation of institutional goals . This reaearch adopted a quantitative
approach . The data collected using questionnaire were analzed with the use of Statistical
Package for Social Science Percentages, [SPSS] Using the simple linear regression test of Fisher .
The findings revealed a significant Positive relationships between school culture and the
attainments of school objectives . Specifically , leadership style and vision, teacher collaboration
and collegiality and student teacher relationships were found to have strong and positive
influences on academic performance . The study concluds that a strong cohesive and positive
school culture is a key determination of educational success . It recommends that school heads
adopt transformational leaderships to enhance the achievements of school goals .
