1. Marco earns ₱80 per hour. This month, he


worked 160 regular hours and 12 overtime hours
(paid at 125% rate). What is his total gross
income? After applying standard deductions (SSS,
PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) with no withholding tax, what
is his net pay?

2. Teacher Linda is a public employee receiving


₱44,700 salary and ₱2,000 non-taxable allowance.
Her deductions also include: GSIS , Pag-IBIG,
PhilHealth and withholding tax. Compute her net
pay.

bought for PHP 480.00, then offers a 10%
discount. What is the final price paid by customer?

4. A seller bought 40 keychains for PHP 50.00 each

them for PHP 45.00 each.

b. What was his total sales?
c. How much was his total loss?
d. What is the percentage loss?

5. A microwave cost PHP 5,999 before VAT. If VAT


is 12%:
