II. SUMMARY
Integral Calculus is a subject of theoretical-practical nature, belonging to the area of Studies.
General Education, whose purpose is the comprehensive training of the students of the Faculty of Engineering;
providing them with the necessary mathematical tools for their objective adaptation in the aspects
conceptual, procedural, and attitudinal, prioritizing the fundamental axes: Learning to be and Learning to
coexist. It covers the following topics: 1. The Indefinite Integral of Functions of a Variable, 2. The Integral
Defined, and 3. Applications of the Definite Integral.

III. SUBJECT COMPETENCE

Develops its analytical capacity, scientific solvency for intuitive, graphic, and formal handling of the
concepts, critical thinking skills, analytical, creative, and transformative, aimed at modeling and
analyze engineering phenomena.

V. METHODOLOGY
The official computer technology (virtual platform, institutional email, etc.) that the University will use
provide, under the educational model of the UNS, which will allow for academic development, innovation and the
research through asynchronous, synchronous, and virtual learning. The use of this technology allows for
interconnection between the teacher and the students in whom their own autonomy is encouraged and developed.
Synchronous learning is done online through a chat, the student can stay in
contact with their teacher and with other students. The teacher and the student listen to, read, and/or see each other.
at the same time, regardless of whether they are in different physical spaces. The interaction
it is done in real time, like in an in-person class. The communication or interaction tools
The most commonly used tools to support this mode of learning are: Chat rooms, Electronic boards
shared, Messenger, Video calls, Audio and Videoconferences (online), among others.

of learning; that is to say, under this modality, the student is autonomous, is the one who plans their pace and their
time dedicated to studying and participating in individual or group tasks or activities, without
need to be in direct connection with the teacher and other students.

VI. EVALUATION AND APPROVAL REQUIREMENTS

The evaluation of the online course includes the assessment of two (02) academic units and one project.
of production or final product.
The evaluation for each of the units is carried out by collecting and recording evidence during
the learning process includes: the evaluation of the task performance tasks (ETE) with weight 1 and
the written test (PE) with a weight of 2. The written tests (exams) will be taken in the 8th week and
16th, respectively. The Execution Tasks include: Attendance at virtual sessions of
programmed learning, task presentation, and development of questionnaires with exercises or applications
practices conducted in class and outside of class, reports through the virtual platform.

EVALUATION: WEEK 16

From the Note of the Production Task

The Production Task has the following weighting: Product Document (PD): weight 3, and the defense

The student passes the subject when they have one approved unit, an approved production task, and the
average of the subject passed.

From the Replacement Exam

The student who has failed the subject has the right to take a substitute exam for the unit.
who has obtained the lowest score in the written exam and passes the subject as established
Article 155 of the Undergraduate Student Regulations.
