PART III – COLOR CODE

1 GENERAL
This color code summarizes the experience of the Oil Industry in the
identification of systems and equipment with certain colors, according to their use
or situation. However, in this regard, the guidelines formulated by the Standards
COVENIN Numbers 187–92 and 253–99, Definitions and Classifications of Colors
and Safety Signals, and Colors for the Identification of Lines that Carry
Fluids, respectively, must be taken into account and followed.
This code is not exhaustive and differences in appreciation will arise from
agreement with the complexity of PDVSA's operations, which in turn
it will require a particular or special color scheme, however, for the
Most of the painting work currently carried out must be
sufficient.
