1 GENERAL
This color code summarizes the experience of the Oil Industry in the
identification of systems and equipment with certain colors, according to their use
or situation. However, in this regard, the guidelines formulated by the Standards
COVENIN Numbers 187–92 and 253–99, Definitions and Classifications of Colors
and Safety Signals, and Colors for the Identification of Lines that Carry
Fluids, respectively, must be taken into account and followed.
