Hello friends, I have an LG LCD TV MOD. 26LG30R with the following defect: It works normally at 220 volts, but at
110 volts or when the voltage drops a little, it keeps turning off. I have already replaced the electrolytic capacitors and the photo-
power couplers from the source but didn't solve, I kindly ask that if any colleague has this tip, please pass it on to me. I want since

Turn off the C119 and ZD106 from the power source and throw away these components that are useless. I did that and it worked.
I had this defect, and even with a new power supply, the symptom returned; I think it's a flaw of this model.
because I have already got about 4 with this defect...

It worked in my case.

There must be another chassis for this model. This power supply (26LG30R) does not have the capacitors that some forums mentioned.

they recommend the replacement; 2200x10, in this model are 1000x25 and 680x25.

I believe that is why the tip to remove components c119 and zd106 did not work.

I don't have this schematic, if any forum friend has it, could you send it to me? Thank you in advance.

I even have the service manual for it, but it doesn't have the schematic for the power supply in it, which means it's useless.

Hmm... here in the forum I found three chassis that have this model, LA85A, LA85D, LP81A. The 26LG30R corresponds to
LP81A.

As my friend McGayver said, "but there is no font scheme in it," none have the main font scheme.

LG considers the entire board as a component, PSU.

I will keep trying, anything I will post in the forum.

Thank you!

I have one of these bombs and it had the same problem. I resolved it in the following way.
In the source and on the inverter board, there is one cable labeled 'err' that is used to send information about the inverter's consumption.
The PCI principal is defective, just remove the wire going to the power supply, it will work normally.
As the other friend already mentioned, this power supply is the one with the different capacitors. I hope I have helped you. Mine is.
functioning normally for 6 months

I found Velkman's tip interesting, I will try it and see if it works in my case.

I had already noticed this pin 'err' and deduced (I don't have the power supply schematic) that it would be an error information for
the micro. But I didn't pay attention to the inverter, as the voltage from the source going to the inverter drops from 24 to 21v when
weapon. (when the TV is malfunctioning). I focused on the power supply (dry or open capacitors), but it could be the inverter.
that is knocking down the fountain and consequently setting up the protection.

Regarding the photo of the board, I will put it so that my friend mcgayver can see which is the protection zener of this power supply.

Thank you once again.

See you later.

Good night, I spent all day today in front of this TV and I couldn't do anything.

The ERR pin didn't work. I turned it off and nothing happens.

If anyone remembers any tips, please help me.

Dude, this week I just got two with the same defect, and the tip I mentioned that worked for me didn't work on these.
It worked, I just noticed that when they malfunction, if you unplug the cable going to the inverter, it keeps working with audio.
It's normal and it doesn't turn off anymore. I think the problem is really in the power supply. Let's see if we can solve this together.
I suppose the fault is in the power supply of the inverter.

Good afternoon.

I got lost with this device. After comparing McGyver's tips with a circular from LG for the 32" TV, I reached
a conclusion that worked for me.

I found out where the protection works and that disconnecting Jump number J104 minimizes the protection. This jump is the smallest one underneath.
of the two capacitors of 68 x 450v.

A guy on the internet told me that this is a design flaw and that to fix it, some adaptation would have to be made. He does it.
this adaptation for R$ 250.00.

But I think I discovered, I am in the testing phase, to see if this adaptation will not cause another problem.

Try doing it and see if it works in your case.

Don't forget to give feedback.

a hug.
