Question 2: Soft skills are essential for a future career. As a student from
International University, please list 3 important soft skills and explain how you
would improve and utilize these skills in order to attain a professional image.
Support your viewpoints in 300 words.

Soft skills are very important for building a professional image and achieving career
success. As a student from International University, I believe that critical thinking,
analytical reasoning, and communication skills are three essential abilities for
future growth.

The first important skill is critical thinking. This means being able to understand,
evaluate, and analyze information carefully before making decisions. To develop this
skill, I will practice questioning ideas, looking at problems from different
perspectives, and joining group discussions or debates. By improving my critical
thinking, I can make logical decisions, present my opinions clearly, and solve
problems effectively — all of which help build a strong professional image.
The second key skill is analytical reasoning, which is the ability to break down
complex issues and find patterns or solutions. I can strengthen this skill by working on
research projects, doing case studies, and using data to support my conclusions.
Having good analytical reasoning helps me make accurate decisions and show
reliability and professionalism at work.

The third essential skill is communication, both oral and written. Oral
communication includes speaking in meetings, presentations, or discussions, while
written communication involves writing reports, emails, and letters. To improve these
skills, I plan to join public speaking events, write regularly, and ask for feedback from
teachers and classmates. Strong communication allows me to express ideas clearly,
collaborate with others, and build good relationships in the workplace.

In conclusion, developing critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and communication

skills will help me appear confident, capable, and professional — qualities that are
vital for success in any career.
