Precautions for disconnecting the battery terminal INFOID:0000000010430172

When disconnecting the battery terminal, pay attention to the following.

Always use a 12 V battery as the power supply.
Do not disconnect the battery terminal while the engine is running.
When disconnecting the 12 V battery terminal, turn off the switch.

The supplemental restraint system (SRS) activates the airbag module and the seat belt pretensioner.
