Advanced Candlestick Patterns

1. Morning Star A three-candle bullish reversal pattern. Appears at the bottom of a downtrend.

2. Evening Star A three-candle bearish reversal pattern. Appears at the top of an uptrend.

3. Three White Soldiers Three strong bullish candles in a row — indicates strong upward
momentum.

4. Three Black Crows Three strong bearish candles in a row — indicates strong downward
pressure.

5. Piercing Pattern Bullish reversal pattern where the second candle closes above the midpoint of
the previous bearish candle.

6. Dark Cloud Cover Bearish reversal pattern where the second candle closes below the midpoint
of the previous bullish candle.

7. Harami A small candle inside a large previous candle — indicates trend slowdown and possible
reversal.
