Narrator: In a small town, a young man named Romeo lived a humble life after losing his
parents. On his 18th birthday, a poster for a grand ball caught his eye.
(Scene 1: The Market Square)
Romeo: (excitedly) Look at this! A night ball! We must go, friends!
Friend 1: A ball? But we have no fancy clothes!
Friend 2: Who cares? It’ll be fun!
Narrator: With excitement, Romeo and his friends decided to attend the ball, unaware of the
fate that awaited him.
(Scene 2: The Ball)
(Music plays, and guests dance.)
Romeo: (spotting Juliet) Who is that? She’s radiant!
Friend 1: That’s Juliet, the daughter of the royal family!
Romeo: (approaching Juliet) Excuse me, miss. May I have this dance?
Juliet: (smiling) I would love to!

instantly.

Nurse: (whispering) Juliet, Romeo is waiting. Are you ready?

cousin, and his friends.
Tybalt: (angrily) Stay out of this, Romeo!
Romeo: (pleading) Please, we don’t need to fight!
(The fight escalates, and Tybalt is killed.)
