VLM Wireless is an on-board computer based on VLM platform. In addition to recording trip details,
the device is
Capable to define custom types of events, such as seat belt, doors, lights…etc.
You can have exceptions reported to you once vehicle pass or park in fleet yard.
This helps you actively and pro-actively manages your vehicles, keeping your fleet status very clear
always.

Driver Management
Using the RFID driver Card, you can define and control access to the vehicle. Optional starter-circuit
interrupter can be installed to prevent starting the engine without driver authentication.
RFID technology with unique id for each driver prevents any interference with drivers between
companies.
Driver identification helps the system admin

istrator to identify who did the violation, this will push
your drivers to improve their driving behavior.
Vehicle Management
You can reduce and optimize your vehicle operating and
maintenance cost by monitoring the vehicle usage and the event
occurs during time.
Also, VLM stores 2 seconds interval data (TACHO) which can help
you analyzing accidents, and to explain what happened during
the last seconds before the accident.
Data Transaction
Configuration can be uploaded and data can be downloaded
either by serial cable to any host like (Laptop, PDA, I mate...) or
wireless (on-air) using the VLM base station which gives you
the ability to search, upload new configuration and download
recorder data from any vehicle in range using the radio
frequency as carrier.
