The line graph shows data about the consumption of fast food by Mauritian teenagers
over a period of 30 years (from 1985 to 2015).
It is noticable that the frequency of eaten hamburgers and fried chickens increased
significantly, while the figures for pizza decreased. Over a period of 30 years,
hamburgers replaced the pizza which was the most favourite fast food of Mauritian
teenagers.
From 1985 to 2000, although the consumption of pizza decreased from 60 times to 40
times, it was the dominant fast food among Mauritian teens. By contrast, the
frequency of hamburger and fried chicken increased from 10 and roughly 5 to 40
times respectively. In 2000, Mauritian teens consumed (ate) these three types of
fast food 40 times.
Write body 2: Mauritian teens consumed the same times of fast food in 2000. The
number of times of eaten hamburger reached its peak of just over 70 between 2000
and 2015. Whereas the number of times eaten pizza reduced gradually from 40 to 10
between 2000 and 2015. Finally, the consumption of fried chicken went up moderately
from 40 to nearly point of 60 over a period of 10 years.
