A script breakdown is a detailed analysis of a script that organizes all necessary production elements for each scene. It includes headers for production data, location, scene details, and a breakdown of various departments such as art, makeup, and photography. The process involves color-coding elements in the script and transferring them to a breakdown table for clarity among departments.
