ACTIVITY 1
1. What level are you as a leader?
I see myself at Level 2 – Contributing Team Member, where I work well with others and
contribute my skills to achieve group goals. My focus right now is on learning teamwork,
discipline, and cooperation as a cadet.
2. What do you need to improve for you to become a Level 5 leader?
I need to improve my vision, management skills, and humility to inspire others beyond my own
contributions. I must also learn to organize people effectively and build commitment to shared
goals.
3. What are you going to do to improve yourself to become a Level 5 leader?
I will enhance my leadership by developing both personal discipline and group influence,
ensuring I uplift others as I grow. I will practice humility, seek mentorship, and commit to
excellence in all tasks to gradually reach the level of a Level 5 Executive leader.
ACTIVITY 2
1. What are the characteristics of people whom you want to ride with you on the bus?
I want to be with people who are disciplined and committed, because in cadetship, small lapses
in attitude can affect the whole group. They must be dependable, trustworthy, and willing to
sacrifice comfort for the good of the team. I also value resilience, because challenges and
pressures are constant, and it is easier to move forward when everyone can endure together.
Most importantly, I want people with a positive spirit, who not only follow orders but also
motivate others during tough times.
2. How do you plan to develop others for you to be able to encourage everyone to contribute
while in the bus?
I plan to develop others by leading through example, being early, disciplined, and consistent, so
that my peers will see that I practice what I preach. I will encourage open communication,
listening to their ideas and making them feel that their contributions matter. Whenever
possible, I will share responsibilities with them, allowing each member to take small leadership
roles, whether in drills, academics, or cultural activities. By giving them trust and guidance, I can
help them realize their strengths and build confidence, so that together we can contribute fully
to the journey we are all riding on.
ACTIVITY #3
Reflection
1. What are the brutal facts in your team/organization that you need to face?
As a class in the PPSA, one brutal fact we face is the pressure of balancing academics, physical
training, and leadership responsibilities while striving for excellence. As upperclass cadets,
another reality is the challenge of setting the example for the lower class despite our own
struggles and fatigue. For the Academy as a whole, the brutal facts include limited resources
and facilities that sometimes affect our training and formation as future leaders.
2. How will you address the brutal facts as a team?
As a class, we will address these by supporting each other, sharing knowledge, motivating one
another, and practicing discipline to manage time and energy effectively. As upperclass, we will
continue to mentor the lower class with patience and guidance, showing them resilience
despite our own limitations. As an Academy, we can address these issues by presenting
proposals for improvement, maximizing what we currently have, and upholding unity and
professionalism in every activity.
3. What will you contribute to address the brutal facts in your team?
As a cadet, I will contribute by leading through example, staying disciplined, focused, and
consistent even when circumstances are tough. I will also contribute by encouraging my peers
and mentoring juniors, so that together we lessen the burden and face challenges with
teamwork. At the Academy level, my contribution is to remain committed to the training
system, offering constructive feedback, and doing my part in upholding the prestige and
credibility of PPSA.
ACTIVITY #4
1. What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about serving people and making a positive impact on their lives, especially in
ensuring safety, order, and rehabilitation in the community. I find meaning when my efforts
contribute to discipline, growth, and empowerment of others.
2. What drives your economic engine?
What drives my economic engine is my career in public safety service, which provides stability,
opportunities for growth, and the ability to support my family while fulfilling my duty to society.
My profession gives me both purpose and sustainability.
3. What can you do that you can perform better than others?
I can inspire and influence others through discipline, integrity, and example, especially during
challenging situations. I may not always be the most skilled in every task, but I consistently show
resilience, commitment, and a strong work ethic that motivates others.
4. What is your hedgehog?
My hedgehog is leading with authenticity and service—using my passion for public safety, my
profession as my driving force, and my ability to influence others as my strength. This is where
my passion, purpose, and skills meet, guiding me as a future leader in the public safety sector.
