San Jose, the famous city and capital of Costa Rica which is known for its innovation, cultural
diversity, affluence, and sunny and mild Mediterranean climate.

Costa Rica being 51,000 kilometers square is slightly smaller than most other Spanish speaking
countries, holding up to 5.212 million people (2023) which makes it a moderately populated
country.

Costa Rican Colón (CRC) is the currency currently used in Costa Rica and every 187 CRC
dollars converts to 1 EC dollar.

Costa Rica is located in Central America and right in between Nicaragua and Panama.

Stephan Brunner is the current first vice president of Costa Rica since 2022.

Deborah Nowalski Kader, better known by her stage name Debi Nova, is a Costa Rican singer-
songwriter that is considered to be the most successful Costa Rican artist in the country's history.

Daniel Zovatto Blanco is a Costa Rican and American film and television actor. Since 2012, he
has starred in films of the horror genre, Beneath, It Follows, and Don't Breathe, The Pope's
Exorcist, Woman of The Hour as well as the romantic comedy Laggies.

Famous Foods
A Tres leches cake is a sponge cake that is soaked in three kinds of milk. Though the cake is
saturated in liquid, it's not dense Tres leches is known for its light and fluffy texture.
Tres leches:
 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
 1 teaspoon baking powder
 ½ cup unsalted butter
 1 cup white sugar
 5 eggs
 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
 2 cups whole milk
 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
 1 cup white sugar
 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mexican rice pudding, arroz con leche translates to rice with milk and can include other
ingredients like cinnamon and raisins. The dish also has some sort of sweetener, whether it’s
sugar or sweetened condensed milk.
Arroz con leche:
 7 cups water
 1 cup long-grain white rice
 2 cinnamon sticks
 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
 1 cup whole milk
 ground cinnamon, for topping

from December to April, and the rainy season is from May to November.

The forests begin to green up, and wildlife becomes more active
Mornings are usually sunny, with rainfall in the afternoon
Some say it's a good idea to be active in the morning and relax in the afternoon
