You can use NUMBERs on the TV Chart, to select time frames. Example: Just type 2D,
and it will get you each candle worth 2Days.
The Section called "COMMUNITY" within the Home Page, gives you access to "IDEAS"
and "SCRIPTS" Sections, where you can find recent investment ideas, and recent
investment analysis strategies
There´s a Keyboard Shortcut section in the menu button, within TV
Theres a HELP CENTER section in the menu button, within TV
Theres a HOME button in the menu, within TV, to redirect you to the MENU
You can have multiple sources of Price Data in one chart, so that you can compare
the differences in price magnitudes, like using one graph from APPle, and adding
the chart from Nasdac into te same graph, you can do that from the COMPÀRE Button,
to the right of CANDLES. ¿ Como podria usar esto para mi beneficio ?
TV has built in INDICATORS and "STRATEGIES", you can use RSI, STOCHASTIC and
Exponential moving average. We can also draw the ATR.
You can merge indicators with like RSI and Stochastic ON THE PRICE ACTION PANEL!!
You can do this by selecting the 3 dots from the Indicator settings and selecting
"MOVE TO" "EXisting Pane Above"! ¿ Como podria usar esto para mi beneficio ?
You can add the ATR indicador to the main graph, and maximize its transparency, so
that you dont have to see the line graph it creates, but instead, you do have its
numerical value displayed constantly to the top left of the main graph, to use it
as analysis tool
I have to investigate RANGE BAR Trading strategies
In TV there´s a wealth of public scripts that are being written by the trading
community, that do all kinds of things that a typical indicator doesnt.
When using a SCRIPT or a custom indicator, thats extremely powerfull as it gives
you selling signals
Within the BUILT-IN section, you can find INDICATORS and STRATEGIES scripts
Within TV, STRATEGIES are SCRIPTS that deploy a backtesting system, which executes
mock trades over historical data to get an idea of how certain strategy rules
perform in a period of time. This is a way to TEST certain strategies, and
depending on the timeframe your on it will change your backtesting results.
TV gives you the ability to back test automatically over historical price data.
You can test differente STRATEGIES BY SELECTING THEM AND VIEWING THEIR RESULTS IN
THE "STRATEGY TESTER" SECTION TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN, and if you change
timeframes from 1W to 1hr, it can give us different results for each strategy. This
way we can also view what strategies would provide better signals and on which
specific timeframes.
¿ HOW TO CREATE ALERTS ? ¿ HOW TO USE THEM ?
We can use the ALERTS system te deploy alerts for specific asset classes
The ALERTs tool has webhook URL and a Message option to send alerts with indicator
data to third partys APIs which is extremely usefull for trade automatiion
The BAR REPLAY TOOL is used to backtest strategies MANUALLY, BACK TEST MANUALLY, to
confirm hoy a particular trading setup performs, you can simulate how you could
manage that trade to historical price action. It works for strategy development and
reading price action.
In the BAR REPLAY TOOL you can HOLD ALT + G the get a "GO TO" option, so that you
can load more historical data from the past by selecting a specific Date, but if
doing so you reach a "last bar in the graph", you can use the "GO TO" Option again,
and put the vertical line on top of the last candle and press left click, and thus
youll get loaded even more historical data
With the UNDO/REDO Scroll you can go back to where you were on the chart and remove
any dditions or re-add them.
The SELECT LAYOUT option allows you to load multiple chart layouts into a single
monitor screen, you also customize each one of the charts in Color, indicators,
intervals, etc. This is EXTREMELY USEFULL AND FANTASTIC For someone who USES
MULTIPLE TIMEFRAMES and wants to ANALYZE MULTIPLE MARKETS on ONE SCREEN, its used
to TRADE ACTIVELY and to MONITOR ALL THE TRADES AT A GLANCE.
You can also SYNC...
-The symbols from one chart into all of the other Charts within the screen, so that
you can create multiple perspectives on that instrument, if you want.
-The Crosshair, for you to be able to see it in all the charts if you want, or so
that you only see it in one chart.
-The Interval, so that all the Charts begin displaying the same interval of the
main chart selected across all of them.
-The Time of the main chart, so that when you click on a single Chart, others get
scrolled to THAT single point, all the charts willgo into the same location and
period of time, regardless of what instrument they are.
-The Drawings, so that a drawing in one graph, is synced into all of the other
charts, independently of the time frames they all have, so long they have the same
instrument, they will all see the drawing.
Whenever you are CUSTOMIZING the graphs from each different layout, and if you find
that they are all very different and you want to make them all look the same, like
if you wanna copy identically 1 graph into the other 3 graphs, you can press RIGHT
CLICK on the Graph you want all the others to COPY, Press RIGHT CLICK + SETTINGS +
APPLY TO ALL, and that way, the Layout will be copied into all
By the Way, if you SELECT the RANGED BARS "CHARTING OPTION", and at the same time
you have SYNCED the "INTERVAL" option within "SELECT LAYOUT" Section, ALL THE
GRAPHS are going to change automatically into a RANGED BARS Chart, as it seems that
TV considers RANGED BARS LIKE A TIME INTERVAL, as it does have 50Range, 100 Range,
etc included within the interval section....So just know that that is like a time
innterval also. But if after that happens you choose the 1 hr interval, instead of
choosing anything from the 30R,50R,100R RANGE SECTIONS, all the grapghs will
automatically change to Line grpahs again AUTOMATICALLY
THERE IS A "RESET OPTION" WHEN RIGHT CLICKNG ON THE GRAPH, WHICH YOU CAN EXECUTE
JUST BY PRESSING ALT + R, this option is usefull to bring each graph in which you
press it, to the latest price action level where price is. It can also be used to
reset the viewing angles and the to impose similar dimensions of each chart, so if
you want all of them to look the same, and be viewing the latest price movements,
just pres ALT + R, that way you dont have graphs in different angles due to using
them much.
You can Also use the RULER tool in multiple graphs and the same time
The Drawing option can be used to make MULTIPLE TIME FRAME ANALYSIS. For example,
if you pull-up two charts and on the higher timeframe Chart you place a TRENDLINE,
if you have both charts synced in Drawings, you will be able to see that on the
lower timeframe graph, you will find the Trendline aswell, providing you with a
better view of the Key Levels that you need in order to find a Trading Setup.
Si tienes VARIOS CHART LAYOUTS CON GRAFICOS EN UNA SOLA PANTALLA, puedes presionar
TO DELETE MULTIPLE DRAWINGS IN ONE CLICK, you can do that by Pressing CONTROL +
( Drag the mouse over all the drawings you want to delete ) + SUPR. Make sure that
you have the CROSSHAIR tool selected when doing this.
IN THE VERTICAL BAR TO THE EXTREME RIGHT WE CAN FIND "NEWS", where we can find only
economic NEWS realted to the ticker symbol we are currently working on
IN THE VERTICAL BAR TO THE EXTREME RIGHT WE CAN FIND "HOTLIST" section, where you
can revise groups of asset classes that performed very good or very bad in the
marklet for the day, this sections help us to isolate and locate groups of new
instruments that might be usefull for us.
IN THE VERTICAL BAR TO THE EXTREME RIGHT WE CAN FIND "CALENDAR", where we can
change our economic calendar filters adn where we can see informatiop about the new
that might affect our trading performance, in the mani bar we also higilight the
closest events that are pending.
TO PLACE AM ORDER WE CAN USE THE ADVANCED PATTERN TOOL + THE FIBONACCI RETRACEMENT
TOOL + THE LONG POSITION TOOL + CREATE A LIMIT ORDER....EVERYTHING AHJEAD OF TIME
The Ruler Tools work by showing:
*The Amount of pips, in Pip numerical: 0.00068
*The percentage gains/loss at the ending of the ruler compared to the beginning:
0.06%
*The amount of Pips, in Entire number: 6.8
*The amount of Japanesse Candlestick Bars: 144 Bars
*The time amount in: 2H 24m
*The Volume : 8.519K
The magnifying glass can be used to scroll over a timeframe you wanna see
independently and maximized
The Magnet Tool, in the vertical bar to the extreme left, can be used to pinpoint
OHLC levels on the graph a few seconds quicker and with less effort
The Stay in Drawin Tool, can be used to make drawing figures more fluent, because
every time you finish a drawing, you DONT need to go to the Toolbar to look for the
same figure again, you just keep on drawing. This works best whenever you are
making a complex and continuos analisis, that will take you time putting lots of
figures on the graph, when making the analisis, before the trading time.
The LOCK tool to the extreme left can be used en TWO Ways.
* You can either PRESS on the GENERAL Tool and MAKE ALL FIGURES IN THE GRAPH BE
LOCKED (That means that you will not need to worry about moving these items
whenever you are pressing things on the chart)
* You can go to EACH FIGURE INDEPENDENTLY and right click on them, and look for the
option that says "LOCK". That way you can lock independent figures that you are
sure you will not need moving aroung when you are working onthe graph. This is
better to dfo after you have finalized a group of figures for the analisis.
"Hide al drawings tool" works to hide indicators, drawings and orders in the graph,
it is to declutter the visibility and clean it up momentarily.
HOW TO OPTIMIZE THE USE OF THE "FOREX SCREENER" ?????
CHART LAYOUTS BECOME VERY USEFULL SPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE MULTIPLE METHODS OF
ANALYSING A MARKET. FOR EXAMPLE, IN ON CHART LAYOUR YOU ONLY DRAW TRENDLINES ON
CANDLESTISK, AND ANOTHER ONE WHERE YOU ONLY LOOK AT PRICE IN RELATION TO MOVING
AVERAGES USING RANGE BARS. TV LETS YOU HAVE A CHART LAYOUT FOR EACH OF THESE SO
THAT YOU DONT HAVE TO KEEP ADDING THE ANALYTICAL TOOLS YOU WANT TO UTILIZE
CREAR UN TRADING PROCESS
