PROJECT INFORMATION
What is a science club?
The science club is a group of young people led by a responsible teacher and
governed by statutes. It is constituted to promote among its members the knowledge of the
sciences, the practice of the scientific method and the development of other scientific activities and
technological.
The science club is the parent organization, manager of the initial investigations of
scientific character through different activities such as:
a- Scientific camps and outings
b- Talks and conferences.
c- Participation in cultural and recreational activities.
Participation in Youth Science and Technology Fairs, presenting the developed projects
during the year.
e- Organization of scientific dissemination activities such as panels, round tables,
exhibitions, mural diaries, etc.
This group of students is free and is only united by their interest in the sciences. They have a
a commission whose sole purpose is to organize the work of the group. Each member of the commission
holds a specific position that is essential for its operation.
Parents, guardians, teachers, and other community members will be able to act as
support commission; this group will be the fundamental support of the school's science club.
WHAT IS INTENDED TO BE DONE?
It is intended to organize the students under a structure, to raise the quality of the
scientific education in the school. It will be done through the creation of a center with the sole purpose of
organize and develop scientific activities, with the implementation of appropriate techniques
to the scientific methodology.

WHY IS IT WANTING TO BE DONE?
The aim of organizing this grouping is to enhance in students a

The recipients of this project are young students from all cycles and levels of the
Normal School of San Roque and other young people from the locality, with an interest in the development of the
sciences whether: Natural, Social, Exact, and Technology. The grouping of students will be
free, according to their personal interests.
THE AREAS WHERE STUDENTS WILL WORK WILL BE THE FOLLOWING:
a- Ciencias Naturales: Trabajos de: Biología - Ecología - Zoología - Botánica Fisiología -
Genetics - Health Sciences - Biochemistry - etc.
b- Exact Sciences: Physics - Chemistry - Mathematics - Computer Science Works
c- Social Sciences: Works of Astronomy, History, Geography, Space Sciences,
Psychology, Sociology.
d- Engineering and Technology: Electronics - Mechanics - Computer Science.
All areas will work together on one or several projects and will do so
in pursuit of a common goal, the realization of scientific projects and the improvement of
learning of the sciences.

EXECUTION SCHEDULE:

MONITORING AND EVALUATION:
The evaluation of the results of this project will be carried out periodically,
by the authorities of the institution and by the members of the general commission of the science club,
at the end of each of the planned activities. A monthly evaluation is suggested, a
on-site evaluation to see the progress of the project and the achievement of the objectives, the concretion of the
activities, goals, and results achieved. A report will be submitted quarterly to the
