GENERAL REVIEW
1. EXTRACT THE DRAIN KEY SUBASSEMBLY FROM THE CYLINDER BLOCK
2. REMOVE THE WATER SEAL PLATE
3. REMOVE THE STRAIGHT THREADED PLUG WITH HEAD NO. 1 FROM THE CYLINDER BLOCK
Remove the threaded plug with a 10 mm hexagonal tubular wrench. 1405L−06
4. REMOVE THE STRAIGHT THREADED PLUG WITH NO.2 HEAD FROM THE CYLINDER BLOCK
Remove the threaded plug with a 10 mm hex socket wrench.
5. REMOVE THE STRAIGHT SCREW PLUG WITH NO.3 HEAD FROM THE CYLINDER BLOCK
Remove the threaded plug with a 10 mm hexagonal tubular wrench.
(a) Check that the alignment marks on the connecting rod and the cap
be aligned in order to ensure their correct assembly.
Remove the 2 screws from the rod cover.
Clean the wrist, the bearing, and the connecting rod.
Check that the wristband and the bearing do not have pitting.
