Late payments incur interest not exceeding the interbank rate set by the Central Reserve Bank of Peru. Additional charges apply for enrolling in more than 22 hours or for late enrollment. A charge of S/ 50 will be added to the second installment for late enrollments . Advance payments disable early payment benefits, and financial responsibilities must be completed before registration .
Tuition payments are structured with installments having specific due dates, the first being due on January 12, 2024, and the second on February 12, 2024. A 5% discount applies for early payments made through Scotiabank and BBVA, while a 2.5% discount is offered by Interbank and Credit Bank. Early payment benefits are void if any installment payment is missed beforehand .
Assessments are conducted according to the modality of the course. In-person courses have in-person assessments, while virtual courses entail virtual assessments. This alignment ensures that the evaluation format matches the mode of learning, thus upholding consistency in course delivery .
The enrollment process for Summer 2024 begins with tuition payments starting November 20, 2023, which can be made at designated banks or online through the UTP portal. Registration shifts will be emailed to students by December 22, indicating when they can complete their online registration, beginning December 26-29. The course registration prioritizes students based on their weighted averages, giving priority to those nearing graduation. Late enrollment is allowed starting January 3, 2024 .
For Summer 2024, students can apply for course withdrawal without financial penalty until January 13 and with financial modification by March 1. Degree, campus, or modality changes for Cycle 1 in 2024 must be requested by March 9. Withdrawals from the academic period do not exempt students from settling any existing outstanding payments .
For students entering before the March 2018 cycle, there is an 18.42% discount for the Management and Humanities degrees and a 13.16% discount for other degrees at Ate campus. These discounts apply to different hour ranges. Students enrolling for more than 22 hours incur an additional hourly charge. After the March 2018 cycle, these base discounts apply without variation in percentage .
During registration, the university operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Students can contact support via WhatsApp, the call center, or manage queries through the UTP+ portal for guidance on procedures and transactions .
If a student wasn't enrolled in August 2023, they must follow the reincorporation process via the UTP+ portal. For Summer 2024, the maximum course credits they can register for is 11. Compliance with the registration, health insurance requirements, and financial responsibilities remains essential for the successful reincorporation .
For the Summer 2024 term, active enrollment in the SIS or another insurance is mandatory for enrollment. Students who can prove their health insurance status via the UTP+ portal can be exempt from the Student Health Program fee. This exemption process must be completed by January 13, 2024. If a student does not comply, the fee is mandatory .
Refunds are only possible if the service is not executed in time or does not comply with the terms of offer. Once the registration quota is expired, refunds are inadmissible unless due service failure occurs. Therefore, accurate payment fulfillment is crucial .
