STAKEHOLDERS CODE OF CONDUCT
This Stakeholders Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for the
behavior and responsibilities of all individuals and organizations that are involved
in the school community, including students, parents, teachers, staff, community
members, and partners. The aim is to create a positive, safe, and respectful
learning environment where all stakeholders collaborate effectively for the well-
being and success of the Burol Elementary School community.
1. General Principles
All stakeholders must adhere to the following principles:
Respect and Integrity: Treat all individuals with respect, fairness, and
integrity. Value the contributions of every member of the school
community.
Collaboration: Work together in the best interest of the students and the
school community, fostering an environment of mutual respect, trust, and
shared goals.
Accountability: Accept responsibility for one's actions and decisions and
be accountable for the outcomes. Always act in a manner that reflects the
values of the school.
Commitment to Excellence: Strive for excellence in all endeavors,
whether academic, personal, or organizational, and contribute to a
supportive, inspiring school environment.
2. Specific Code of Conduct for Different Stakeholders
A. Students
1. Respect for Others: Treat fellow students, teachers, and staff with
respect and courtesy. Harassment, bullying, and discrimination in any
form will not be tolerated.
2. Punctuality and Attendance: Attend classes regularly and punctually.
Adhere to the school’s rules and regulations regarding attendance.

3. Academic Integrity: Complete assignments and assessments honestly
and to the best of your ability. Cheating, plagiarism, and dishonesty are
prohibited.
4. Responsibility for Behavior: Demonstrate responsible behavior in and
out of school. Understand the impact of your actions on the school
community.
5. Respect for Property: Take care of school property, including buildings,
equipment, and materials. Report any damage or misuse promptly.
B. Parents and Guardians
1. Support for Learning: Support your child’s educational journey by
ensuring regular attendance, assisting with homework, and being involved
in school activities.
2. Respect for School Policies: Familiarize yourself with and comply with
school policies and procedures, including attendance, discipline, and
health and safety regulations.
3. Collaborative Partnership: Maintain open communication with teachers
and school staff. Attend meetings and school events to support your
child’s learning and development.
4. Respect for School Community: Treat all members of the school
community with respect. Uphold the values of respect, kindness, and
cooperation in all interactions with the school.
5. Promoting Student Well-Being: Foster a positive home environment
that supports your child’s physical, emotional, and social well-being.
C. Teachers and School Staff
1. Professional Conduct: Maintain professionalism at all times, both in and
out of the classroom. Exhibit a high level of competence, patience, and
understanding when interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
2. Fair and Equitable Treatment: Treat all students equally and fairly,
regardless of their background, abilities, or differences. Support diversity
and inclusion in the school.
3. Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality regarding students' personal
information and academic performance, unless disclosure is required by
law.

4. Commitment to Student Success: Encourage and support students in
achieving their full potential. Provide guidance and constructive feedback
to foster learning and personal growth.
5. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with parents, school
administration, and other stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for
students.
D. School Administrators
1. Leadership and Support: Provide effective leadership by creating a
supportive and safe school environment. Ensure that policies are fair,
transparent, and consistently applied.
2. Engagement with the Community: Foster a culture of collaboration and
engagement with all school stakeholders—students, parents, teachers,
and the broader community.
3. Policy Implementation: Ensure the consistent and fair implementation
of all school policies and procedures. Address any issues promptly and
equitably.
4. Promotion of Professional Development: Encourage and support
professional development opportunities for all staff to enhance their
teaching and leadership capabilities.
5. Promote Student Safety: Ensure the physical, emotional, and
psychological safety of students by developing clear protocols for
emergencies, bullying, and other critical issues.
E. Community Partners and Volunteers
1. Support the School’s Mission: Understand and align with the school’s
vision, mission, and values when engaging with the school community.
2. Respect for Students and Staff: Treat students, staff, and parents with
respect and uphold the values of the school in all interactions.
3. Confidentiality: Adhere to confidentiality agreements when handling any
sensitive information related to students or school operations.
4. Active Participation: Actively contribute to the success of school
programs, initiatives, and events. Offer your expertise and support in a
collaborative manner.
5. Commitment to Safety: Always prioritize the safety and well-being of
students, staff, and the community when volunteering or partnering with
the school.

Integrity: Maintain honesty and transparency in all dealings.
Communication: Use positive and effective communication, actively
listen, and be open to feedback and suggestions.
Safety: Promote a safe and healthy environment for all students, staff,
and community members.
4. Disciplinary Actions
Failure to adhere to this Stakeholders Code of Conduct may result in
appropriate disciplinary action, including but not limited to:
Warning or counseling
Suspension or exclusion from school events
Referral to appropriate authorities or agencies
Revocation of privileges or partnerships with the school
All stakeholders must be made aware that any breach of conduct may be
addressed in a manner that ensures fairness and upholds the school's values and
mission.
