FOUNDATION OF THE SUBJECT

In all areas of engineering, there has been significant scientific progress in recent years.
technological; this has caused the equipment used in the industry to continuously be
innovating. One of the important factors in this modernization is the control systems.

The subject of Process Control is fundamental for the Engineer in Control and Automation to
solving problems related to the area requires knowledge of unit processes
and its dynamics, allowing it to apply the techniques for tuning controllers and selection of
control strategies, this will allow you to know and apply all the tools with which you will provide a
integral solution. To achieve this, it must handle all the related fundamentals, furthermore it is
a subject that allows integrating everything that has been seen in the degree, both from the administrative area
as a technique.

The prerequisite subjects are: Systems Modeling, Control Theory I and II, Primary Elements
Measurement, Transmission and Control Elements, Analytical Measurement Instruments, Preparation and
Transportation of Materials and Separation Operations.

The consequent subjects are: Process Control II and Engineering Project

Las asignaturas colaterales son: Desarrollo Prospectivo de Proyecto y Optativa I
