Brazilians or in Portuguese language
During the opening of Module 2 of the Recorder in
System, extension project linked to the School of Music
from UFRJ, I presented some commonly used methods
in Brazil, talking a little about the authors
about the circumstances of the creation of each of them, such as
they were received, their main characteristics, the reasons
which are still used today. Although the project
has been created precisely to present and discuss
methods and methodologies that use the recorder,
I noticed that several participants were not familiar with
details these more traditional methods, from authors such as
Helle Tirler, Maria Aparecida Mahle, Helmut Monkemeyer
Judith Akoschky and Mário Videla, among others.
As the meetings were happening,
enabling interaction between the speakers,

The idea of this guide then emerged as an attempt to
gather information about part of this material and make it
accessible to a larger number of interested parties. Being a
tarefa trabalhosa e complexa, imaginei que a melhor
a way to fulfill it would be through work
collaborative, in which the participants of the Flute themselves
twelve in the system could analyze and write their
impressions on the selected methods.
The selection of the methods, in fact, was the first step. Two
parameters were established in this process: that the
books were published and in Portuguese, what
allowed the inclusion of translated foreign methods.
An initial list was then drawn up, proposed by me, to
what other titles were being included by
participants' suggestions. The list totaled 33 methods,
considering that the eventual unfolding into more than
a volume was counted as a single title.
In a second moment, a consultation was made to the

to manage to solve the most complicated problems with
envy-inviting efficacy and tranquility, which ultimately led him

we arrived at this beautiful and functional format of the guide here

explained to the participants throughout the entire process, not
it was to create a ranking of methods, but rather to gather in
a single place for the offer of recorder methods
available in the country. Each one knows their own
pedagogical needs and the material that can best
to adapt to your practice.
In relation to the analyses conducted, I tried to preserve the
original texts from each collaborator. My intervention
it was minimal and necessary only to standardize the data and
clarify specific information that seemed dubious.
Thus, the analyses are the responsibility of each
collaborator. If anyone notices any inconsistency
in the information, please contact me at

necessary changes, if applicable.
