When applying for a duplicate certificate, a candidate needs to provide an affidavit signed in the court of a Magistrate, stating that the original certificate has been lost or destroyed, besides the application form itself .
Candidates who do not collect their diplomas within six months after the Convocation are required to pay a preservation fee, in addition to the usual fees, to Berhampur University. This payment should be made via Bank Draft or Bank Challan in favor of the Comptroller of Finance .
Berhampur University issues certificates only by Registered Post, as a standard procedure, to ensure security and trackability of the documents during delivery .
A non-collegiate candidate must fill in the application form for the original pass certificate or diploma and get it attested by a Gazetted Officer, confirming the correctness of the entries and the eligibility of the applicant. The form should be accompanied by attested Xerox copies of the Provisional Certificate and Mark List of the concerned examination. This includes all mark sheets and the admission card for the convocation, if applicable .
Collegiate candidates must submit their application forms through their respective college's Principal. They should follow the fee schedule for the year when there is no Convocation, using a Bank Draft/Bank Challan made out to the Comptroller of Finance, Berhampur University .
Candidates who failed to attend the Convocation, after applying for admission, must attach their admission card issued for the Convocation along with their application form to receive their diploma .
Berhampur University requires candidates to submit attested copies of certificates of qualifying examinations starting from H.S.C.E. Onwards along with their application form. If there is any ambiguity, the certificate is referred to the concerned board council or university for verification .
If there are discrepancies or missing documents required for certificate issuance, Berhampur University will not take responsibility, and no further correspondence will be made in this regard .
The fees charged by Berhampur University for original degree/diploma certificates are Rs.230 for both collegiate and non-collegiate candidates. Payments should be made via Bank Draft or Bank Challan drawn in favor of the Comptroller of Finance, Berhampur University .
Candidates must produce an affidavit signed in the court of Magistrate declaring the original certificate has been lost or destroyed. Duplicates are only issued under such circumstances. The fee for a duplicate certificate is Rs.130, payable to the Comptroller of Finance, Berhampur University, via Bank Draft or Bank Challan .
