Role Overview
We are seeking a Backend Engineer to design, build, and operate real-time services powering
healthcare automation. You’ll work across microservices, data models, and integrations that
enable Interactly’s AI assistants.
Key Responsibilities
● Design and own Python/FastAPI microservices (async I/O, WebSockets).
● Operate MongoDB/Atlas: schema design, indexing, aggregation, performance tuning.
● Integrate third-party APIs/services and productionize them.
● Contribute to LLM features: tool/function calling, structured outputs, RAG, guardrails.
● Build CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability systems.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams and write clear docs/runbooks.
Qualifications
● 3+ years backend experience with Python and FastAPI (or similar async frameworks).
● Strong MongoDB/Atlas experience.
● CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and Docker proficiency.
● Distributed systems debugging and third-party API integration experience.
● LLM/AI experience preferred (RAG pipelines, structured outputs, guardrails).
