REFLECTION / SELF-EVALUATION (Revised Version)

Preparing and completing this portfolio has helped me strengthen my understanding and practice of
technical writing. Through each activity, I learned how important clarity, accuracy, and proper
organization are when creating professional documents. These skills are essential because technical
writing is often used for decision-making, reporting, and record-keeping, where even small errors or
unclear details can affect the quality of the whole document.

One of the most important lessons I learned is the need to present information clearly and objectively.
In activities such as observation reports, comparative analyses, and meeting minutes, I trained myself to
avoid personal opinions and to focus on facts. This helped me develop a more disciplined and
professional writing style.

I also realized that technical writing requires consistency, especially in structure and formatting. Unlike
creative writing, technical writing follows strict guidelines. At first, this was challenging, but through
constant revision and by studying sample documents, I became more comfortable applying formal
formats and following standard documentation styles.

Among all the tasks, the feasibility study and the progress report were the most challenging but also the
most rewarding. These activities required careful planning, organizing information in a logical way, and
presenting ideas clearly. Writing the meeting minutes also helped me practice summarizing information
accurately while keeping the content brief and complete.

Overall, completing this portfolio has made me more confident in my ability to write professional
documents. I gained practical skills that I can use in my academic work and in future workplace settings.
This experience strengthened my ability to communicate ideas clearly, purposefully, and professionally.
