• LED control,Buzzer ,serial monitor
IR Sensor
• Infrared (IR) sensors are commonly used to
detect objects, measure distances, and even
in communication systems
• The IR sensor module works based on the
reflection of infrared light.
• When an object comes into the proximity
of the IR sensor, the emitted infrared light
hits the object and reflects back toward the
sensor.
• The nature and intensity of the reflection
depend on the object's distance, shape,
and surface characteristics.
Working
• Two parts : transmitter & receiver.
• In it, IR LED :transmitter
• the photodiode : receiver.
• When we apply voltage to the IR LED, it emits infrared light.
• This light hits the object and after that the light gets reflected towards
the photodiode sensor.
• The intensity of the reflected signal depends on the proximity of the
object.
• If the object is closer, signal is strong and if the object is far away, signal
is weak.

IR proximity Sensor Module pin-Out

• VCC (Power Supply Pin): This pin is used to provide

power to the IR sensor module. It is connected to the
positive terminal of the power supply, typically 5V.

• GND (Ground Pin): This pin is connected to the

ground (negative terminal) of the power supply.

• It completes the electrical circuit by providing a

common reference point for the sensor module.
Connecting this pin to the ground of the Arduino or
any other microcontroller ensures a common ground,
which is essential for the proper functioning of the
sensor.

• OUT (Output Pin): This pin provides the digital output

signal from the IR sensor module. The output signal
indicates whether an object is detected or not.

Touch Sensor
• A touch sensor is an electronic device that
detects the touch or proximity of a physical
object, such as a finger or a stylus.
• It works by measuring the changes in
capacitance or resistance that occur when an
object comes into contact or approaches its
surface.
• Touch sensors are widely used in various
applications, such as smartphones, tablets,
gaming consoles, and home automation
systems, to provide users with a tactile and
intuitive interface for controlling and
interacting with electronic devices.

Ultrasonic Sensor –HC-SR04
• The HC-SR04 is an ultrasonic ranging module.
• Each HC-SR04 module includes an ultrasonic
transmitter, a receiver and a control circuit.

There are Four Pins on the HC-SR04. They are :

• Vcc (5V supply)
• Gnd (Ground)
• Trig (Trigger)
• Echo (Receive)
The key features to be noted are:
• Operating Voltage: 5V DC
• Operating Current: 15mA
• Measure Angle: 15°
• Ranging Distance: 2cm - 4m

Moisture Sensor
soil humidity sensor, has four pins:
VCC, GND, Aout, Dout.
These four pins can be used to get the soil moisture
data from the sensor,
