Community Project Task: Enhancing the Quality of Life in VSDG

Task Overview

Our gymnasium has received a 100,000-euro grant from the local government to improve the quality of
everyday life for our community members. Your task is to develop a creative and impactful project
proposal that outlines how to best utilize this funding to bring lasting benefits to students, teachers, and
other members of our school community.

Project Requirements

You will work in teams to prepare a 10-minute presentation in which you will pitch your idea to a panel of
teachers and student representatives. Your presentation must cover the following aspects:

1. Purpose of the Project

o What issue or need does your project address?

o How will it contribute to the well-being and development of our gymnasium community?

2. Beneficiaries of the Project

o Who in our community will benefit from your idea?

o How will their everyday lives be improved?

3. Impact on the Community

o How will the project positively influence the gymnasium as a whole?

o What specific aspects of school life will be enhanced (e.g., learning environment, mental
health, physical well-being, extracurricular activities)?

4. Short-term and Long-term Benefits

o Identify immediate positive effects of implementing the project.

o Explain how the project will continue to benefit the community in the future.

5. Budget Planning & Feasibility

o Provide a breakdown of how the 100,000 euros will be allocated.

o Justify your budget choices and ensure the plan is (more or less) realistic and achievable.
