The Orientation yesterday was about policies, history, and organizations of the school.
The policy of the
school is really important especially to the students who disobeying the regulations of the school. We
need to obey this rules so that in the future we already know what not to do and what to do, what really
caught my attention is about the no funny or inappropriate clothes in the campus, why? Because some
of us has no uniform yet and everyday we struggle what to wear to school, that’s why some of the
students also wear “this” kind of clothes because they don’t have anything to wear anymore.
History of the school is very important also, we need to know everything about this school because if we
don’t, all of us will never know the good and bad side of it. Brent was built in 1909 and founded by
Charles Henry Brent. Brent has its own hospital which is particularly great because it can help the
students with such emergencies, like for example, if the students have trouble breathing, if the students
is unwell, if the students have a bad condition.
Third, Organizations of the school, organizations also helps us to maintain our skills, and it can help us to
interact with other school mates. Dance troup is one of the organizations that we tackle yesterday, just
like I said earlier, it can help us to maintain our dancing skills. Debate club, this also helps us to improve
our communicating skills, this teach us not to be scared when we speak the truth or your opinion to a
topic that given to you. Singing club if you have a beautiful voice you are compatible to this organization.
Sports Club also teach us to be athletic, this gives us energy and it can also be your daily life exercise,
maybe one day it can also bring you to successful victory.
The tuition of Brent is much more expensive than I expected, but if you really want to graduate here,
then you really need to improve your everyday lifestyle, and be hardworking, so that all of it will be
worth it when you study here.
