it constitutes a formal and responsible commitment to the development of the activities in
height that develops in the works of X S.A.S.
3. DEFINITIONS

Work at height: It is any task of any nature and duration that must be
to be carried out above 1.50m from the floor level.
Edition X Code: X
Railing: A barrier that is installed at the edge of a place to prevent the possibility of falling.
It must ensure a load capacity and have an upper grip crossbar.
barrier placed at ground level to prevent the fall of objects and an intermediate crossbar or
intermediate barrier that prevents the passage of people between the upper crossbar and the barrier
inferior.
Training: For the purposes of this standard, it is any activity carried out in a company.

certificate that a person completed and passed the necessary training to perform a
work activity. This certificate has no expiration.
Edition X Code: X
Connector: Any certified equipment that allows the worker's harness to be connected to the point of
anchoring.
Positioning sling: Element made of rope, straps, cable or other materials with
minimum resistance of 5,000 pounds (22.2 kilonewtons - 2,272 kg) that it can have in its
extreme hooks or connectors that allow the worker to connect to the anchorage point, and
that limits the fall distance of the worker to a maximum of 60 cm. Its function is to locate the
worker in a workplace, allowing him to use both hands for his work.
Restraint sling: Element of rope, strap, cable, or other material with strength
minimum of 5,000 pounds (22.2 kilonewtons – 2,272 kg) and of different lengths or adjustable
that allows the connection of locking or braking systems. Its function is to limit the
worker movements to ensure they do not reach a place from which they could fall. All the

energy absorbing systems.
Qualified person: Engineer with certified experience of at least two years to calculate
material resistance, design, analyze, evaluate, authorize anchor points and prepare
specifications of jobs, projects or products in accordance with what is established in this
resolution. The qualified person is the only person authorized to a point of
