Risk assessment is obtained by multiplying severity and probability.
(2) The risk is classified as RA: Acceptable Risk, RM: Medium Risk, and RNA: Unacceptable Risk
(3) The elimination refers to the risk no longer existing in the way it was originally analyzed, potentially causing other risks. EXAMPLES: elimination of a machine that, by its principle of operation, emits noise. Another case is the mechanization of an activity originally performed by workers. (This type of control reduces the severity score)
(4) Substitution consists of replacing sources of risk with others that have less adverse potential. EXAMPLES: replacing a solvent-based paint with a water-based one, replacing kerosene in the cleaning of parts with a biodegradable detergent. (This type of control reduces severity scores)
(5) Engineering controls require making structural changes to the working environment, work systems, tools, or equipment to make them safer and not reliant on the behavior of the worker or third parties. EXAMPLES: the implementation of protection for moving parts, presence sensors, drainage channels, automated treatment systems, enclosures, railings, baseboards, etc. (This type of control reduces the score of probability/frequency)

Administrative controls are to establish appropriate procedures such as policies, guidelines, standardized operating procedures, records, work permits, signage, job rotation, work shifts, routine maintenance, training, order, and cleanliness.
(7) Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be provided in the appropriate sizes and in good condition, along with training in their use. It is considered the last barrier of protection and should not be the only control measure.
It mentions the SIG procedures that are necessary to maintain controlled operation.
The SIG guidelines that are necessary to maintain controlled operation are mentioned.
It is necessary to know if there is a response plan in case the hazardous event occurs.
