I don’t know much about selecting computers but I do know that there are several factors at
play when selecting your computer. Some of these factors are performance, storage, portability,
and price. Based on those factors and the three computers that I researched from Walmart,
Best Buy,And Newegg, I would have to say that the best computer choice for myself and most
people is probably the Newegg laptop. From what I can tell it has high end specifications, which
include an Intel core processor and 4.2 GHz speeds as well as 1 TB of storage and 32 GB RAM. It
seems that this computer is ideal for people who are looking for top tier performance. It seems
like it would be a good computer for gaming or video editing or even just for having multiple
apps running at the same time.
I did some research on the graphics card and the Nividia GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card seems
to be one of the most interesting and compelling features of the Newegg laptop. Unlike the
Walmart and Best Buy laptops that rely on integrated graphics, this dedicated GPU makes the
Newegg option stand out. For people who are creative types and for people who like to game. It
was very interesting learning about all the things that this graphics card can do. It can render 3D
models, edit high resolution videos, and it can play graphically intensive games. I think that this
would be a good computer for people in professional job fields like engineering or design or
computer science. From what I can tell having a powerful GPU can significantly enhance a
computers functionality and versatility.
Some of the other critical factors where I think that the Newegg computer excels is storage and
memory. It has a massive 1TB SSD, it offers a lot of space for storing large files, programs and
multimedia projects. SSDs also provide faster read and write speeds compared to traditional
hard drives, which reduces loading times and enhances overall system performance and
responsiveness. Also with 32 GB of RAM ensures that the laptop can handle resource-intensive
applications and multitasking with ease. In contrast the Walmart and Best Buy laptops offer
smaller storage capacities and RAM, which can lead to limitations as user needs grow over time.
I think that given the chart and what I have read I would pick the Newegg computer over the
Walmart and Best Buy laptops. It’s superior performance, advanced graphic capabilities, large
storage capacity, and extended warranty make it the best investment for those with demanding
computer needs. While I don’t have the most demanding computer needs at the moment I do
like to game on my computer and a laptop like the Newegg one would be great for my gaming
needs. I think that the Walmart and Best Buy laptops would be better for those who are on a
budget and are probably better for those with more casual needs. But they lack the advanced
features and upscale capabilities that the Newegg laptop has to offer. For students,
professionals and gamers that want a laptop that will exceed their expectations it seems that
that Newegg laptop is the way to go.
