What is
ENTREPRENEURSHIP?
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
”The process by which individuals pursue
opportunities without regard to the resources they
currently control.” H.H. Stevenson and J.C. Jarillo
ENTREPRENEURSHIP

is the process of starting a new business, often
with an innovative idea, while accepting the
financial risks involved in hopes of making profit.

Is a person who creates unique ideas that will

ENTREPRENEURSHIP
The word “entrepreneur” was derived from the
French verb entreprendre, which means “to
undertake.”
This is pinpointing to those who “undertake” the
risk of enterprise. The enterprise is created by an
entrepreneur and the process is called
“Entrepreneurship.”
