CODING AND DECODING

There are four types of coding:


• Substitution coding
• Statement based coding
• Number coding
• Letter coding

1. Substitution coding:

Q) If “Monday” is called “Wednesday”.


“Wednesday” is called “Friday”
“Friday” is called “Sunday”
“Sunday” is called “Monday”
Which is the holiday of above days

A) Sunday substitute Monday.


So Answer is Monday.

Q) If “Monitor” is called “Printer”


“Printer is called “Keyboard”
“Keyboard” is called “Mouse”
Which device is used for printing.

A) Printer substitute Keyboard.


So Answer is Keyboard.

2. Statement based coding:


In a certain code language
“Pawan is playing Tennis” is code as “Po Ki Top Ma”
“Charan is playing cards” is code as “Kop Ja Ki Ma”
“They are playing football” is code as “Ki Hop Jop Ho”
“Cards and tennis” is code as “Po Sur Kop”
