design and performance optimization (PO1). Examining metallographic studies under micro and
macro inspection helps in identifying material defects and optimizing material selection, which
is crucial for designing reliable and efficient engineering solutions (PO2, PO3). Examining
CO1 metallographic studies under micro and macro inspection aids in identifying material
imperfections and failure mechanisms, which is essential for conducting thorough investigations
of complex engineering problems (PO4). Examining metallographic studies under micro and
macro inspection and follow the ASTM standards, lifelong learning by continuously expanding
knowledge of material testing process, advancements in analytical techniques, and their
applications in evolving engineering challenges ( PO8.,PO12).
Explaining Solid understanding of engineering knowledge is essential for problem-solving.
Students have the capability of selecting testing methods based on material (PO2). Explaining
various visual inspection and testing methods for engineering materials (PO2, PO3, PO4).
During testing process follow the standards, essential for engineers to design materials that
CO2 ensure safety, efficiency, and sustainability, ultimately benefiting society through improved
product performance and longevity (PO6, PO8). Explaining all testing processes and follow the
standards and it will be promotes lifelong learning by encouraging continuous exploration of
evolving material science, testing process, concepts and their applications in improving
engineering practices and solutions for various material testing process (PO12)
Using the appropriate testing process with suitable applications to ensures problem solving
skills, engineering knowledge ,optimal performance, and safety by selecting material testing
process (PO1, PO2 , PO3). Using the appropriate testing methods and standards for various
applications is crucial for the development of solutions that enhance efficiency, reliability, and
CO3 sustainability in manufacturing sectors and ensuring optimal performance and minimizing
failure risks (PO3, PO5, PO6). Using the appropriate materials testing process for various
industrial applications fosters lifelong learning by encouraging engineers to continuously
explore advancements in material testing and technology to address emerging challenges and
optimize performance in demanding environments (PO8,PO12).
Evaluating the failure mechanisms of materials under various types of deformation with
engineering knowledge enables the identification of potential weaknesses, helping to design
more resilient components and improve safety, performance, and longevity (PO1, PO2).
Evaluating the failures and defects of materials under various types of testing process is essential
for the development of solutions that enhance material selection, processing techniques, and
design strategies to prevent failures and improve the durability of engineering systems (PO3,
CO4 PO4). Evaluating the failure mechanisms based some modern tools and materials under various
types of deformation helps in selecting eco-friendly materials and sustainable design practices
that reduce environmental impact while ensuring long-term reliability and performance
(PO5,PO7). Evaluating the failures of materials under various types of inspection process used
for lifelong learning by promoting the continuous exploration of new materials, techniques, and
