Reverse Osmosis Antiscalant
 DESCRIPTION
 Maxtreat® 9001 is highly effective liquid antiscalant to control inorganic
fouling along with the particulate matter fouling with specific dispersant which
helps to keep the Reverse Osmosis membrane surface clean.

 Maxtreat® 9001 is recommended for controlling inorganic scales found in


surface, ground and sea water.

 Maxtreat® 9001 shown excellent product performance for preventing carbonate


and silica scale under various feed water characteristics.

 BENEFITS
 Effectively controls scales including calcium carbonate up to LSI + 2.5.
 Proven effective over diverse class of scales -Calcium Sulphate, Calcium
carbonate, Barium Sulphate, Strontium Sulphate, metal oxides.
 Effective over an operating pH 6- 10.
 Forms soluble complex with ions & thus keeps in suspension.
 Distorts scale forming crystals thus do not allow deposit on membrane surface.
 Exhibits excellent performance in high saline / brackish waters / Treated effluent
 Compatible with all the leading RO membrane use.
 APPLICATION & DOSAGE
Recommended dosage in the range of 1-6 ppm (neat)
controls a wide range of inorganic scales.
Dosing of antiscalant Maxtreat® 9001 to be done prior to
Cartridge filter for proper mixing.
Thermax will provide technical assistance in arriving at
optimum dosages for your design operating conditions.

 HANDLING AND SAFETY
Maxtreat® 9001 should be stored in dry condition. Ensure
the container is closed tightly to avoid contact with air.
Normal precautions should be taken while handling the
material. In case of contact, wash with lot of water. Avoid
contact with eyes and skin. Do not swallow.

 PACKING
Maxtreat® 9001 is available in 20/35 kg carboys.
