EXPERIENCE
2022 - Present
Disability Support Work
My role as a support worker has many important factors. My
key responsibility is to keep the child safe both mentally and
physically. To do so I have to be at high alert.
I have to memorise, write and follow any health plans. These
include medication plans, emergency care plans, and a
variety of different therapy programs (physio, OT, eating,
hydro, speech)
During these therapy sessions I often assist, learn and then
repeat by myself with clients if needed.
I administer many medications daily so tracking times,
reactions and progress of each client is very important.
Each individual client has different needs meaning that
different medical equipment is needed for each. Ensuring I
have knowledge of the equipment and how it is used is
essential. As well as keeping the equipment clean and
functioning.

During my time as a support worker both in schools and as an

independent worker I have had many amazing clients.
Everyday I come across many different disabilitys and
illnesses. These are the ones I have worked with so far:
•Cancer
•Tumors (benign)
•Lv4 Cerebral Palsy
•Lv5 Cerebral Palsy
•Albinism
•Epilepsy
•Microcephaly
•Dystonia
•Spasticity
•Autism
•Hearing impairment
•Sight impairment

ANTHROPOLOGY, RETAIL ASSISTANT, 2018-2019
During my time in retail I had daily tasks to maintain, these
included things such as steaming clothes, stocking shelves,

while keeping them safe and ensuring the shop floor was
clean and tidy for them.

Working as a receptionist was a great job for me as it was
based on customer satisfaction. I had to ensure i was giving
the customer a great service and helping with any issues they
may have had within their stay. This job was very much about
great communication with visitors when booking their
stay with us online or through the phone. I had to Reply to
emails on time and ensure all guests were happy with the
room and cleaning as-well as check them in and out of their
rooms.

During my time nannying I was able to put all the things i had

cleaning, cooking, laundry and other house work needed
while sticking to the children’s daily routine.
