II.- JUSTIFICATION:
This work is classified as a feasible project, as it aims at the design and
promotion of a recycling project for plastic, paper, and cardboard, while achieving education,
education and training on how to carry it out. This project is specifically aimed at the students
from the educational center of the "Immaculate Virgin" school with the main purpose of making known to the
community of our institution the great importance that recycling has worldwide, as it is
one of the primary means for the preservation of the planet and ecological balance, of which not
we can do without; and with the proper practice of this, substantial benefits can be obtained.

III.- INTRODUCTION:
El siguiente proyecto de investigación pretende de una forma práctica, informativa y educacional, la

IV.- OBJECTIVES
4.1.- Objetivo general:
4.1.1.- Achieve that students learn not to pollute the environment by knowing the benefits
of recycling.
4.2.- Specific Objectives:
4.2.1.- Inform students about the recycling project in their training and in their respective classrooms,
Likewise, to inform them about the containers in which the different materials to be recycled will be placed.
4.2.2.- Recycle each item (plastics, paper, and cardboard) in containers provided by the
educational center for a period of one month from August 20 to September 18 (only what
the students will join from their recess hours), this will be carried out by classroom and by level, under the responsibility of the tutors
respective.
4.2.3.- Gradually develop an ecological awareness and ethics.

V.- CONTEST:
1.- Collection of materials to recycle
a)Plastic, paper, and cardboard materials will be collected.
b)Only these materials from the educational center will be collected. Bringing materials from outside is prohibited.

c)The collection process begins on Tuesday, August 20, and culminates on Wednesday, 18th.

SECONDARY: The classrooms compete independently, the classrooms of 5° A and 5° B also

f) The materials will be weighed in the presence of a responsible tutor for each group alongside a
student to avoid controversies, of which there will be a single winner per level.
g)The one who obtains the largest amount of recycled materials will be rewarded.
h) The award ceremony will take place on Monday, September 23.
2.- Presentation of projects made with recyclable materials.
a) Students will form teams with a maximum of 4 students, teams with fewer members are also allowed.

d)It will be developed in two phases:
Phase: Semi-final (September 13) will take place in each classroom, which will be evaluated by a
committee, consisting of Director José Chavarri, Ms. Katrina, and Prof. Rocio Espino Gavilano,
They will evaluate the projects from which 2 projects will be chosen to advance to the final.

Phase II: Final (September 18), will take place in the courtyard of the educational center, where the

e)From the assessment:
The committee will evaluate the following for each project at every phase:
• Presentation of the material made entirely with recyclable objects.
• Originality.
• Use of the presented project.
• Triptych that will contain: materials used for the project, procedure in the

VI.- AWARDING
6.1.- Carry out the award ceremony for the classroom that recycled the most materials and grant them the
green love (medal) and a diploma for the winning cycle (primary) or the winning classroom (initial and
secondary) and the mention of this merit in public after the collection period has ended.

6.2.- Award the students in the presence of the authorities of the district municipality who
they have presented the most original recycling project by levels (II phase)
6.3.- Sell all the recycled material from the school to obtain prizes for the winners of the
