Understanding Histograms and Class Data

The document explains key concepts related to histograms, including class, class width, class interval, and class frequency. It defines lower and upper boundaries, class mid values, and frequency density, along with the formula for calculating frequency density. Additionally, it notes that the area of a column in a histogram represents frequency.

Histograms

Class: The range of values that contain data points.

Class Width: The difference between the class boundaries

Class interval: The interval from the upper boundary to the lower boundary.

Class frequency: Frequency on the specific class.

Lower Boundary: Setting a lower range in a class of values.

Upper Boundary: Setting an upper range in a class of values.

Class mid values: The mid value from the upper boundary and the lower
boundary.

Frequency density: Class frequency by the class width.

Column area: Is the frequency.

Frequency density= class frequency/ class width
