1. Close RO Feed Control Valve (51FV-9320) to 25% (speed to close valve to be adjusted so that pressure drops at rate of less than 0.7 kg/cm2g per second), then to 5% (speed to close valve to be adjusted so that pressure drops at rate of less than 0.4 kg/cm2g per second).
Note:
3. Open RO Reject Control Valve (51FV-9321) gradually over 30 seconds to the last position or position input during initial start-up.
4. Once both RO Feed Control Valve (51FV-9320) and RO Reject Control Valve (51FV-9321) have reach their last opened positions, start to modulate RO Reject control valve (51FV-9321) by PID control corresponding to RO Reject (51FICA-9321) signal to maintain the required pre-set reject
flowrate. And start to modulate RO Feed Control Valve (51FV-9320) by PID control corresponding to RO Permeate Flow (51FICA-9320) signal to maintain the required pre-set permeate flowrate.
5. Put RO Feed Control Valve (51FV-9320) and RO Reject Control Valve (51FV-9321) in manual mode, where they will be in their last position.
* These valves are always at open position even in “OFF” mode unless RO goes into service.
* Operator can extend dumping by pressing the hold/unhold button

Note: - 5 secs of time delay (idle) in between every sequence time delay (idle) is for pump ramping and valve switching. Time to be fine tuned during commisioning.
- During normal operation the Filtration Cycle is (FB+ BWB)+ (FT+BWT)
- Forward Flush Top (FFT) and Forward Flush Bottom (FFB) are reserve for the operation when the solid content of the feed water is high.
- Filtration completion is based on total filtration volume. The stated duration is indicative based on continuous flow.
