2. SUMMARY

2.1 GENERAL OBJECTIVES.

The subject of Technical Drawing and Descriptive Geometry corresponds to the first semester of the training of the
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. It is of a theoretical-practical nature, providing the basic principles of the pro-
injections of low-complexity industrial parts in space, a tool that will allow the future teacher-
professional application in research projects and technological transfer using manuals, tables, and abacuses
normalized, properly applying the ISO Standards.

2.2 THEMATIC UNIT.

Sheet formats, Scale, Standardized labeling, Geometric constructions, Dimensioning, Projection
Main Actions, Sections, The Point, The Line, The Plane, Intersections (lines, planes, polyhedra, and surfaces)

3. OBJECTIVES.

3.1 GENERAL OBJECTIVES.

• Identify, organize, and conduct research projects with the aim of generating competitive advantages.
ra su empresa, efectuando las coordinaciones con las áreas funcionales relacionadas.
• Formulate, develop, evaluate, and implement projects to improve productive infrastructure, optimization
of the processes that generate value, fostering a quality culture that involves the participation of the per-
personal and supplier collaboration.

3.2 SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES.

At the end of each unit, the student will be able to:

1. Employ, relate, and apply the basic knowledge of Geometry in technical drawing.
2. Distinguish and select the most appropriate methods for constructing geometric figures.
3. Interpret three-dimensional positions on the plane and consolidate the concepts of the main projections.
