FECHA:23-06-2016
1. OBJETIVOS:
1.1 General Objective:
Design a structured cabling system for a
building, putting into practice the knowledge acquired in
the course of the Structured Cabling subject, with the purpose
to be able to achieve a correct wiring that has voice services and
given.
1.2 Objetivos específicos:
Make a list of the elements you want to implement in the
IECE building (Ecuadorian Institute of Educational Credit).
To define the dimensions of the rooms and the type of cable that is going to be used
use for each of these, as required by them.
to correctly use the necessary standards
use in this structured cabling system.
To propose a structured cabling design that allows
flexibility, in order that if in the future it is desired to implement
new technologies and other equipment, the cabling system facilitates
its renewal.
To create a table of the symbolism that allows for knowledge of
each symbol used in the building plan.
2. SCOPE
The purpose of this project is to be able to put into practice all of the
knowledge acquired in the subject, that is, to give it a practical use
standards that have been learned so far and the requirements
necessary to carry out the structured cabling system.
In this design, all the services that are going to be implemented will be defined.
both in voice and in data; taking into account the following
parameters:
First of all, what must be taken into account is that the
structured cabling must last at least 10 years of life
useful.
It should also be taken into account that it should be able to
implement new technologies, as in the future it may
to cause a change or implementation of some other service.
The design of the structured cabling network inside the building.
The proper installations of the various cables of the network
wiring.
The specifications of the different areas and spaces of
telecommunications.
Compliance with the rules and wiring specifications
structured that is provided by the ANSI.
3. DISTRIBUTION BY FLOORS OF THE BUILDING
The structured cabling system being implemented is for the
IECE building which is the Ecuadorian Institute of Educational Credit, which is
located at Alpallana Street E7-183 and Av. Diego de Almagro, has 3
floors, the ground floor and two floors, distributed as shown in the table:

4. Considerations for design
For the design of this structured cabling system, it will be governed by
the following rules:
ANSI/EIA/TIA-569 A standard that specifies routings and
telecommunications spaces for commercial buildings.
ANSI/TIA/EIA-606A standard - which aids in the management for
the telecommunications infrastructure in commercial buildings.
NORMA TIA/EIA-607.-Requirements for telecommunications
grounding and earthing in commercial buildings.
NORMA TIA/EIA TSB-67.-Performance specifications of
transmission for field testing of UTP cabling systems.
WORK AREA
It is the area where the different workstations of the network are.
each of them will have a connection socket that will allow
connect the device or devices that you want to integrate into the
red.
The work area includes everything that is connected from the
connection rosette to the devices to connect themselves
(computers and printers fundamentally).
If the cable is used to share voice, data, or other services,
each of them must have a different connector
own connection rosette.
The cable that goes from the socket to the device to be connected is
it is called a whip and cannot exceed 3 meters in length.

GROUND FLOOR
It also has a rack that connects to the equipment, printers and
computers
On the ground floor there is:
32 voice points.
-32 data points.
FLOOR 1
It also has a rack, which connects to the equipment, printers and
computers
On the ground floor there is:
31 voice points.
-31 data points.
FLOOR 2
It also has a rack that connects to the equipment, printers and
computers
The ground floor has:
-28 voice points.
-28 data points.
CONCLUSIONES:
The design of a network must be carefully analyzed, among the
factors that influence achieving a good design
Flexibility regarding the services must be taken into account.
supported, the required lifespan, the site size and the amount of
usuarios que estarán "conectados", costos, entre otros.
Structured Cabling is a technique or a system of network cabling.
which follows a series of regulations in a modular way in order to
provide an appropriate physical work for the user
As a final recommendation, a nomenclature should be established.
documentation for each structured cabling installation, all the
cables, panels, and outlets must be documented both at a glance
like in its interior.
Plans and/or diagrams of the facilities must be maintained.
