Drama Script

[Scene: Ruby is on her knees. Praveen is hidden under the undergrowth.]

RUBY: Praveen, get back!

[Scene: Toad roars and charges at Praveen and Ruby.]

[Scene: Hands grab Ruby’s arms, tug her up, snatch the camera from her neck, and
throw it against a rock. The camera breaks into pieces.]

RUBY: No! All my photos are on there!

[Scene: Stinger pulls Praveen from the undergrowth.]

TOAD (shocked): What are you guys doing out here?!

GARJAN: Who are you working for, and why did you take a picture of me?!

RUBY (quickly): We’re taking pictures of the animals. I’m practicing to be a


wildlife photographer.

[Scene: Ruby can’t stop looking at the leopard’s body. She wonders if it’s the same
one she saw in the jungle and vowed to protect.]

RUBY (roughly): You killed it! You’re a coward, Garjan.

TOAD: I’ve had enough of this.

[Scene: Toad grabs Praveen’s arms and forces them behind his back.]

TOAD: Get her!

[Scene: Stinger grabs Ruby’s wrists.]

[Scene: An unknown character appears on the ridge above the other characters.]
