continued to rise by 7 and 10 million for the next two years, while internet users rose by 4 and
2 million in the mentioned period. However, in 2017 mobile phone users dropped by 2 million
while internet users rose by as high as 46 million. Next, people using mobile phone jumped to

Bar graph : People living below the poverty line
The bar graph demonstrates the number of people living below the poverty line in Bangladesh
from 1995 to 2005. In 1995, 35% people of Bangladesh lived below the poverty line. Within 2003,
the percentage increased 10% and 45% people lived below the poverty line on that time. But
from then onward, the number of people living under poverty line started to decrease. From
2003 to 2007, there was a noticeable decrement in the number and it was 30% in 2007. Within
the next three years, the number of people living below the poverty line decreased additional 2%
compared to 2007 and it reached to 28% in 2010. From the data of the bar graph, it is clear that
within 1995 to 2010, the highest number of people lived under the poverty line in 2003. On the
other hand, the lowest number of people lived below the poverty line in 2010. Though the number
was in an increasing trend from 1995 to 2003, it started to move on to a decreasing trend from
2003. And it is definitely a positive point for the country
