Purpose and overview
The purpose of this exercise is for students to develop their analytical skills as well as their
understanding of course concepts. This document provides a coherent explanation that will guide you
step by step to understand what is exactly required to fulfil this assignment.
The Assignment:
While these in-depth managerial analysis exercise for a selected company will be used as the main
part of class assessment strategy, you will be responsible for writing and submitting a structured form
of analysis to one of the assigned companies from the list mentioned below. Everyone will write and
submit the analysis report paper on the due date determined by your professor throughout the
semester.
Why in-depth managerial analysis Exercise?
This in-depth managerial analysis exercise provides realistic workplace situations that allow you to think
about and apply management theory/theories. The exercise, like the real world, do not have one “right
solution.” The challenge is for you to analyze the information you may find from different sources,
identify management theories that can help you explain and analyze this information, and make
recommendations that can be supported by management theories which have been discussed
throughout the management course.
Format
The written in-depth managerial analysis report should be approximately 20-25 pages (Font 12 times
new roman in PDF format) + references and appendixes. It must be submitted to the Moodle LMS
directly by email on the due date. You are required to use the following naming style when submitting
your report: (Name as exactly appears in your class roaster -Case name). See the course schedule for
specific due dates and times. Late submissions will not be accepted.
The written case exercise report must include the following sections. Each section must be identified
with a heading that is in bold and underlined and separated from the other sections. These sections are
listed below.
Managerial Analysis Report – Individual Project Issues and Questions to be addressed:
1. Company Background
